✨ college hockey romance

After a one night stand with a masked stranger a couple months prior Seraphina is forced to move in with her brother and his roommates her sophomore year and she is more than surprised when her tattooed stranger ends up being there and is her brothers teammate Tyler. Knowing he has to stay away from Seraphina it becomes harder to do the closer they get while Sera struggles with her ADHD and what to do next for school and Tyler with burning himself out between hockey and school. They start to rely on each other until they can no longer stay away.

I absolutely devoured offside so I couldn’t wait for the next book in this world and this one did not disappoint. I love the idea of them knowing each other prior but not truly knowing each other. It added extra tension and pining between the two that had me dying for when they finally gave in again. I love the nicknames they gave each other, I’m a sucker for a really good nickname.

I love experiences Seraphina and her internal struggles. Her struggles with discovering who she is now and who her real friends are. Her ADHD was a big part of this and I love the representation of someone maybe not having their whole future figured out. And Tyler and his struggles were done so well.

We get a “he takes care of her scene” a one bed scene. The forced proximity in this is just perfection. I really enjoyed all aspects of this story. The friendship that blossoms between these two and then when the tension finally snaps we get to see the forbidden ness between them while they try to hide it from Sera’s brother Chase.

Im definitely a huge fan of this authors work and I think her hockey romances may just be some of my favorite! This is the perfect college hockey romance to add to your TBR! Who would want to read about a tattooed and grumpy hockey player who buys her a pink coffee maker so she has her coffee every morning and appreciates her love of pink!
