The Highly Sensitive Person: How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You by Elaine N. Aron

5.0

It took me a LONG time to get into it. It's relatively dry, jargony, and has just an overwhelming amount of information. Which is good. But I don't think I was prepared for it, at least at first. The font is small (which is hard for my brain - it brings me back to textbook days). The writing and ideas are dense.

I did walk away challenging some of my previously existing thoughts on the topic, better understanding myself, and ultimately collecting new tools to help me assess and manage my life.

Overall, a great and informative read. Be prepared though, it feels and reads like a textbook.
