Much Ado about Nada by Uzma Jalaluddin

3.0

Love 'Much Ado About Nothing' and 'Persuasion' and appreciated the Muslim representation here (which seemed authentic from a non-Muslim perspective). But I didn't love Nada as a character for like 60% of this story so couldn't get that invested in the romance, even with the surprising twists towards the end. I did appreciate how she grew as a character to better support her friends and brothers while also rejuvenating her sense of self.
