As usual this is a mind bending have to read it until the end McFadden book we know. Addie is a 16 year old high school student with a looming past that has caused her some issues with this upcoming school year. I appreciated how we learn about all the main characters as the book goes on, it leaves us asking "why", "when" and "WHAT?!". I was a bit uncomfortable with some of the character relationships but it is to be expected (SEE TRIGGER WARNINGS). The Teacher was my favorite McFadden read thus far, often I am not able to follow the plot and suddenly everything is revealed and I'm left missing the bait before the hook, not in this book I had to keep reading to see the development. I particularly enjoyed the use of The Raven I am also a big Poe fan and enjoy a good comeback (in more ways then one). It is a must read for anyone into mystery, thrillers.
