Okay I am not going to lie, this took me a minute to get into. I listened to the audiobook, and I cannot tell if that made it more difficult to follow or if it is supposed to be ambiguous and perplexing intentionally. I did enjoy the ending (like tons of respect for the complexity of the it), and I will probably get to the rest of the series eventually, but it’s not at the top of my list to read next. I definitely recommend for people who like complex fantasies that have an emphasis on world building.
