Blood on the Tide by Katee Robert

Did not finish book. Stopped at 4%.

I had this book on hold from my library (Libby) for a long time. I kept suspending the hold and generally feeling like I should give this second in series a shot because it was about pirates and Lizzie seemed like she would be a really interesting protagonist and I wanted to get more Sapphic romance exposure. But no matter how long I waited, my interest didn't build. I finally got it out, started it, and no matter how hard I tried to focus on the intro exposition, couldn't make myself interested.

This is me trying too hard. For now, I have so many other books that I am more excited to read and I'm going to focus on those.
