Did not finish book. Stopped at 39%.

100 pages in I just had nothing driving me forward. The plot was not compelling, the world-building was not what I would expect from this kind of book and the characters had nothing going for them. It kept feeling like I either had to have read another book to know where this was going, or as if something was missing in terms of the character and development.
