The Calling by David Gaider

3.0

Overall a good book. My only real complaint is that when Julien dies it feels very "bury your gays," even more so when Nicolas is the next to go. That being said, its not like they're the only ones who didn't make it all the way to the end, and given my experience with the Dragon Age franchise, I am willing to believe that their deaths were not intended to adhere to that trope.

I really enjoyed getting Duncan's history, and watching Maric and Fiona fall in love. And the Architect is certainly interesting. I am hoping for more of it in the future.
