The Provincial Lady in America by E.M. Delafield

Thoroughly enjoyable as always, the third installment of The Provincial Lady did not disappoint. Some very funny observations about America and Canada and fascinating to hear about travel in the 1930s which seems so much more civilised than it is today. Enormous cast of characters in this book, which did make it a little confusing at times, and I did rather miss the old favourite characters, hence not giving it quite 5 stars. Nevertheless, still funny and compelling.
