The With Me In Seattle Series by Kristen Proby has been on my list forever. I have heard such great things, and I must say, I was not disappointed. I read the entire book with a happy little grin on my face the whole time. It had everything I love in a book. Heart pounding melt-in-your mouth hero, a heroine that I loved immediately, humor, a ton of romance and lots and lots...and lots more, SEX. But not to the point where it felt like full-on lady porn at all. The romance was definitely the focus here, and it was basically angst-free.
Come Away with Me (With Me in Seattle 1) by Kristen Proby is a happy little fairy tale. There isn't much meat to it, but Luke might be the most romantic guy I have ever read about. Plus he's fuck-hot and dominant in the bedroom. He makes every real man look bad. But that's OK, sometimes a sweet fairytale without all the angst is a nice change.
Natalie is a photographer, out very early one morning taking photos at the beach. Suddenly, she is confronted by a very angry, and very gorgeous guy who is insisting she give him her camera. She thinks she is being mugged because she doesn't recognize the sexy stranger from the huge hit vampire movies he starred in years before.
Luke is immediately intrigued by the curvy and beautiful Natalie, and he is so excited to meet someone who doesn't know who he is. He takes her out to breakfast to apologize, and the romance of Luke and Natalie begins.
Natalie didn't know who he was, and Luke kept it from her...but everything else about Luke is so freaking perfect *swoon*.
He cooks, sets up completely romantic outings, gives amazing foot rubs, talks dirty, never stops telling Nat (who is insecure) how beautiful she is, sends her flowers up the wazoo, is amazing in bed, is a bit controlling and jealous, and is of course, a gorgeous hunk of manhood.
The sex. Oh my, the sex. My vagina was kind of hurting in sympathy with the amount of sex they had! Airplane, limo, beach, wall, desk...and it was pretty hot! The scenes are short, maybe 2 pages each (they both seem to come quickly), but there are tons of them. And no flowery words like 'petals' and 'turgid'.

I am absolutely ready to move on and read the next one. I hear the series gets better as you move on, and given that I really loved this book, I can't wait for more! Come Away With Me is perfect for when you need that sweet, sexy, hot, angst-free romance-heavy beach read. Told in first person via Natalie, we are lucky to get an awesome epilogue from Luke's POV. This book stands alone, but the rest of the books have glimpses of the couple.

Likes:
- OMG, Luke Williams. He's almost perfect.
- Lots of sex (hey, I know, I'm a horn-dog)
- Hardly any angst.
- The banter between the couple.
- Nat's friend and roommate Jules and her family, and I can't wait to read more about them in the series.
- I love the movie star/regular girl theme.
- Luke Williams is the most romantic guy ever.
Dislikes:
- It was all just a little too sweet and perfect.
- A few too many errors and overuse of certain words.
- Nat created just a little too much drama all by herself by having a major overreaction.
- The sex was varied and numerous, but a few scenes could have been stretched. They both seem to come in two strokes.
