It is easy to see how this book won the Pulitzer Prize. If you are a fan of “A Civil Action” and similar books, then you’ll appreciate the way this agonizing and depressing tale of a poisoned community is told. I’ll be thinking about this story and its ramifications for our planet for a long time. I’m also grateful that my home state has banned fracking after reading it.
