The Duke Can Go to the Devil by Erin Knightley

4.0

May may look like a delicate English flower but she grew up on the sea with her sea captain father. After her mother passed he thought it would be best to return to England so that she could immerse herself in English culture. She may be enjoying her time in Bath but really May is just passing time waiting for her father to return for her so they can continue their adventures on the ocean. William, a wealthy eligible bachelor Duke, loves all things English especially all things proper. He may be attracted to May but she is far from proper and as much as he wants to hate her he just can't stay away. Neither believe there is any future possible for them but they just can't stay away. Can May give up her dreams of returning to life on a boat if she believes William is the one for her or can William open up to something a little different from the typical for his future Duchess? Really great continuation to the Prelude to a Kiss series, loving the secondary characters making appearances. Great read!
