A small but mighty novel about what ICE & deportation encompass to millions of immigrants throughout the U.S. The automatic default that everyone assumes it’s only Mexicans crossing the border when it’s actually multitude of people from a wide range of diverse countries. Ana’s story(a woman from El Salvador who wanted a better life for her daughter) is just one of thousands in addition to Jennette’s & her own family’s tumultuous history with Cuba.
Moderate: Deportation and Confinement
