Gaza in Crisis: Reflections on the Us-Israeli War Against the Palestinians by Ilan Pappé, Noam Chomsky

informative sad slow-paced
I really liked the structure of this collection, even though it took me a lot of focus to get through each chapter. A lot of the book focuses on the 2007-09 war in Gaza, which I hadn't heard about much until reading this, while also speaking more broadly to the United States' involvement with Israel and the hypocrisy of both government when it comes to resistance v. terrorism. These topics feel incredibly prescient in the context of the genocide happening now, and really enforce that ground invasion and destruction of Gaza was always the plan, none of what we're seeing right now is new.
