This was a good comic book ( if that’s the best way to describe it lol) , the details were amazing and the coloring was very reminiscent of like older comic book styles and I enjoyed that although , there were points that felt like there was a literally too much dialogue on the pages so you had to read the dialogue first before you go back and then take in the details of the images.
But tbh I don’t think I’m really the target audience for this book ( and ngl I’m not upset about it no offense to the people who are the target audience 🤷🏾♀️), it was a bit to bleak for me, always talking about the wrongs of humanity and yes I understand that we as humans have destroyed a lot especially when it comes to the environment but it felt like it was only focusing on the bad things that humans do and not really the good. The only person that I related to the most was Laurel , she seemed like the only person that had some semblance of humanity/empathy/compassion in her. All the other people were just dreadful and just pissed me off so much.
Also if there are no Edward Blake haters in this world , that means I’m dead 🙄because wtf I hated him from the beginning and I still hate him at the end , I hated how they all tried to fucking justify what he did and even the victim of what he did!!!! That pissed me off so much.
Anyways I don’t know if I would recommend this or not , if you are intrigued then go ahead.
