This book was different from what I expected from the cover, but in a good way! The mystery ended up being more intricate than I expected and I loved how it all came together in the end. At times Truly’s negativity bothered me but she came around in a lot of ways at the end and her struggles felt very real.

Her dad’s punishment was really severe and I would have liked some more reconciliation between him  and Truly in regards to him understanding more where she was coming from in the incident with mean girl Hayden.
