I am gonna be thinking about this book for a really long time. The generational narratives and the way they weave and flow together was so incredible. The way math and music were described so poetically was astoundingly beautiful to read. I also loved how this book captured the complexities of living during China’s political environment between the 1950s-1990s. Very very incredible book.
