Calypso by David Sedaris
5.0
I love David Sedaris.
Yep, that's it. That's my whole review.
Haha - Okay, but what is not to love? I think I've enjoyed everything he has written and this was no exception. Calypso is another brilliant collection of essays and ramblings about the ups, downs and idiosyncrasies of life.
“Your English Is So Good” is probably my favorite. There is also an poignant essay dealing with the complicated feelings surrounding the suicide of his sister Tiffany.
Sedaris is sincere and reflective, yet characteristically lighthearted. I would highly recommend if you have not read him.
