While it may not be saying much given my feelings on the first book, at least it had better writing than The Duke and I. However, I still take issues with essentially the entire book, from using an almost r*pe as a plot device to the fact that the main set of characters are almost entirely unlikeable, not to mention that this was such a blatant and cheap Cinderella retelling it was almost laughable.
