Fun and thoughtful read! Explores themes such as grief, family, and love.
It follows Florence Day, a ghostwriter for a famous author who has been off the grid. When tragedy strikes at home, she returns for her father’s funeral only to be met by an unexpected guest. Her family owns a funeral home and she possesses the strange ability to see ghost. She has a deadline for the book she is ghostwriting for, so when she sees her editor Ben, who she just met, she knows something is off. Ben was hit by a car, so she believes him to be dead and is trying to find out why she sees him, while also trying to meet her deadline for writing. She has given up on love, but will Ben reignite her passion for writing romance books and deal with his current situation.
Overall great pacing and the little plot twist at the end was nice. Great book to pass the time on a cool rainy day!
