This was... okay. The graphic novel adaptation is clearly abridged. There are places where things seem to resolve far too quickly, or questions that don't get answered at all. What happened to Rich after the fire? Did he survive? Why did he go mad? And the squib really changed its tune very quickly at the end. All of the sudden it was very "Oh shoot I messed up. Please buy 4.0" Instead of the "My way or the highway" attitude it had the entire time.

I recently read a graphic novel with a similar plot to this called The Cool Code and I just really feel like that one was better done than this one. The art was cuter too.
