An interesting story from an unreliable narrator looking back at her childhood, particularly the toxic relationship between Antara and her mother Tara. In the present day Tara is losing her memory and self, as Antara tries to care for her. As the story unwinds we see that Antara has secrets of her own, ones that she is hiding even in the telling of her story
