The Belgariad is one of my very favorite fantasy series. I have too much nostalgia tied to these books to ever be objective about them, so feel free to take my review with a grain of salt, but I've read this series at least six times and I still love it every time I pick it up.
This is one of my favorite segments of the series. It has a few laugh-out-loud moments that I adore. It culminates in a really epic way. I recommend The Belgariad all the time to people who want to get into fantasy because the books are short, the story moves quickly, and the characters are so lovable. If you haven't checked this one out yet, you should.
