Lynsay Sands is SUCH AN AMAZING WRITER. My God these books are some of the funniest books I have ever read in my life. She even manages to surprise readers at every turn. Things that you think are going to be a major problem in the relationship are solved within the very same scene. It is just so refreshing how she is able to have the relationships develop without a third act break-up. And despite the same murder plot in each book, I am never bored. I enjoy every minute of these books and don't know what I will do with myself when I finish.
I really really liked how this woman had kidnapped the hero and instead of that being long drawn out drama, he wasn't even mad at her. It was just all surprising and funny. Then OMG the scene when she telling him how she never needs to be with him again and her father is horrified and asks her what on earth did you do!?!? This was also so refreshing because no one was embarassed they were just all honestly able to have a conversation about it.
