It has been awhile since I read this book, I watch the movie more often and I had forgotten what that leaves out. I feel that it is obvious at points this was the first published work by Jane Austen. It is by no means bad but it isn’t my favorite.
Overall I like Elinor and Marianne, their differences make their relationship interesting.
There are a lot of unlikable characters but I do think that is part of the point. Most of them I think are products of the time or are meant to be annoyances to the others.
Willoughby, they could never make me like you.
