“Once I send the professor off, one of you guys can get into the front. Adam? Unless he’s sleeping “No,” Adam said. “I’m awake.”
Neeve is back and ready to torture us all! Wow, I was not expecting that bomb in the epilogue. I thought they managed to keep the third sleeper asleep, and everything would go back to normal… well as normal as it can be in Henrietta.
I loved the thought of Adam being the one in between (The three sleepers). I thought that was really poetic. Bluegansey, god they have my heart, and I need more! I’m scared we’re seeing the last of Noah. He keeps fading, so I’m scared for the last book. Thank god Maura is alive and back. Once again, the storyline and relationship between the psychic triad and Blue was very dear to me, and the fact that she thought she lost her mum, lost Persephone, and couldn’t stand the thought of losing Calla was almost traumatising to me.
More development of Blue’s power. She’s a mirror, and I hope that is further explored. I want to know the extent of that power.
Another thing I want to point out. I’m not sure if the visions from the tree in Cabeswater were false, but the gang keeps having the visions, but a few things tend to be off. For example: Adam seeing Ronan die instead of Gansey. Blue and Gansey almost kissing in the car, but Blue telling him she wants to pretend? Maybe there’s hope, and Gansey will survive this. And maybe the death list is false because Neeve, who cannot be trusted, was the one who told Blue she will kill or be responsible (her kiss) for Gansey’s death? I don’t know, but I am eager to find out.
Excited to see where this fourth book leads us! 4.5!
