I’m trying to be more accurate with my star ratings and I just didn’t really like this one 🤷🏻‍♀️ I read it because I’ve seen it around and I heard it was being adapted this year but the overall story just wasn’t very good. I’ll still watch the movie because I do think it has a good concept but the book just didn’t give me what I wanted it to. I thought the reveal and reasoning was pretty dumb and on top of that, I also didn’t particularly care about any of the characters so I didn’t feel like there were any real stakes so when characters were killed, I didn’t really feel any type of emotional towards it. I think it could’ve been better with more character development and if the killers motivation had more logic. I personally wouldn’t recommend this one but to each their own 🤷🏻‍♀️
