Short, sweet novella. I’m glad Maladek got his redemption. What a cutie pie. Seeing more of all the different types of Clecanians and where they live is really fun. I liked the change up in story type where Katie was abducted as a kid and has basically grown up in space. She has a backlog of alien experiences and knows what’s up. I loved the meeting between Maladek and Katie. I was like “oooooh how’s he going to get on her good side after that?” And then it was so cute to see him do it! I enjoyed this so much
