Pesos: The Rise and Fall of a Border Family by Pietro La Greca Jr.

4.0

I scored this on Amazon First Reads the end of 2022, and just got around to reading it. I'm not sure why there's not more hype about this book. It's an autobiography/true crime/coming of age/rise and fall of a family story told from the son/grandson of the family's POV. It wraps up very nicely at the end. It's very entertaining, and never gets boring, as some autobiographies tend to do. It reads well, and is informative enough to understand, but not so detailed it gets confusing or boring. I highly recommend, especially if you're into true crime, but nothing too gory.
