A great read for anyone whose primary associations with the Dead post-date Garcia's death. That said, its eminently clear who in the band participated in this book and who didnt. While I have no doubt that many of the tales that show Phil and his wife in a bad light are true, its also clear that we are getting only one side of a story that, inevitable with a group of people with this much tangled history, is complicated with plenty of guilt to go around.
