It's been about 2 years since I read the traditional novel of The Graveyard Book, but I can tell you that I like this format so much more.
There are different illustrators for each chapter which really adds to the sense of Bod growing up. It's also much easier to understand what is going and how creatures were meant to be envisioned.
Even though the story felt exactly the same, the graphic novel adds more of a spooky atmosphere to it all.
