I’m going to update this later. This is the first book I’ve ever fully reread and the most influential from my teenage years. It has not only withstood the test of time, but is more relevant and poignant than ever. It would detract from its power to compare it to CF or Mckjay because this is rebellious on all on its own. If it had been stand alone—not a trilogy- its subtle notes of dissent would be revolutionary still.
