Belladonna by Adalyn Grace

“Hello little bird. Come to stab me again?”

Belladonna is seriously high on my September TBR so I jumped into it as soon as I can secure a copy and I couldn’t get enough of this gothic romantic murder mystery set in a haunted manner. The atmospheric writing in the book is brilliant and I can’t help but applaud the unique characterization of the protagonists. Signa quickly had my attention within the first few pages, her nonchalant attitude towards her entire macabre situations made me enjoy her character even more!

The way the book touched on loss and grief without actually making it dark is super interesting.I naturally gravitate towards books that involve serious sleuthing, so I had super hard time putting it down. The fun part is trying to solve the mystery and quickly being thrown off by Adalyn
