The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë

I liked the concept of the book, but I felt like the point could have been made in half the number of pages. The middle of the book especially was slow and repetitive.

The letter/journal entry style format was also not for me

It’s nice and all that Helen ended up happy with Gilbert, but I wish their romance was developed more. I don’t feel like enough happened between them to make me care about them as a couple.
