Troubled rockstar meets baker with a traumatic past. He's wonderful and sweet; she's skittish but very tough, and they're each hiding their own pain. With her trauma, it's a very slow burn romance indeed but whole process of them building feelings and trust is written well. He's a total gem - kind, understanding and very patient, and she opens up to him because of his sincerity and his heart, and she inspires him to compose again. 

Their romance is sweet, tender and there's good doses of passion, and I loved how much he adores her and fights to protect her. Good elements of suspense, which also serves to strengthen their bond. Really enjoyed this!
