This is a sweet, charming story. It centers on the love story between childhood sweethearts, Noah and Kelsey. Their love is thwarted by Kelsey's overbearing mother, Filomena. Separated, they go their own way only to be reunited later. Feelings are rekindled and they have a second chance at love. The character growth in Kelsey is well presented. However, Filomena comes across as one dimensional. It is almost as if she is a cardboard character molded into the role of villain. Overall, the story is engaging with a host of entertaining characters and the beautiful setting of Christmas Island.
