Adam’s life is plagued with difficulties. Whether that be his abusive parents or the creepy house that his grandmother lives in. He’s a target for bullies, but he tries to forget all of that. He’s a violin prodigy. After encountering a strange doll, things take a bizarre turn for him, plunging him into dark hallucinations and visions.
As the story explains each cycle of Adam’s life, it adds another layer to who he is. Even he has questions about who he is deep down, and the more he remembers, the less sure he is that he wants to know.
This is a book with plenty of plot twists and phenomenal character development. Happy to see this is part of a series.
Narration was smooth, working easily with Adam’s character to truly put the icing on the cake that is this audiobook.
