All of these books are unoriginal. Bad boy edgy MMC instantly becomes obsessed and possessive of the FMC the moment they lay eye on them. "She doesn't know it yet but she's mine." You don't even know her name, calm down little bro.

The characters are written all the same and the FMC always ends up "falling" for the MMC as they battle their morality after being assaulted. And somehow the MMC is always in a profession that allows them to stalk the FMC. Not to mention repetitive writing and descriptions. Please use a thesaurus. The amount of times I've read the word "latte" in the first chapter is abysmal. At least the descriptive imagery was decent, the only saving grace from receiving a 1 star review.

I get it's supposed to be a "fun and quick" read but filled with cliche tropes. This story was too long. You could shave off at least 20 pages and you wouldn't miss anything. Too much overexplaining. The plot was nonsensical. At least make it realistic and pay attention to detail. The MMC works for the government but buddy is dumber than a bag of rocks in regard to his actions. Was very close to DNFing but decided to see it out since it was such a short read and I was halfway through.
