Aphrodite Made Me Do It by Trista Mateer

3.0

This is the first book that I read under Trista Mateer, and I'll make sure to read the rest of them. I picked this up to get out of my reading slump and it seriously helped me (you cannot go wrong in choosing poetries when you're unmotivated lol). The subjects of this book are sensitive, but the author made it bearable; they made it more comfortable to dive into. I loved the entries written in Aphrodite's pov. It made me want to read a book related to the goddess. I adore the mixture of the standard and contemporary poetry structures (though most of them are written in modern style). It is the kind of book that I would recommend to readers who want a quick read.
