Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.

I was expecting a lot more from this. I’ve heard great things about Sadie and her preaching. But, every chapter felt like it was full of incredibly generic advice and very little scripture. I’m an adult woman, and chapters like “What’s the tea?” and “Throw Yourself a Dance Party” didn’t really resonate with me. Even if they did, it was advice I’d heard many times before. I was looking for something a little more inspiring and much more based in scripture than in personal experience. It felt like Sadie was very much the center of this book, not God. I also wish I had seen that this was labeled YA before I bought it, it’s kind of hidden on the bottom of the back cover on my copy.
