Floored
by Karla Sorensen
This was such a fun read but not without angst. I really enjoy Sorensen's Ward family and there is plenty of them in this one. Lia the impetuous, outgoing twin gets her HEA when she meets Jude, the footballer who knocks her up their one-night together. They figure out how to be together while apart, and this is one of the few books I've read where the MC goes to therapy on the page. Jude has a ton of baggage with parents who disapprove of his choice in career and there's a great scene with his therapist near the end in which he has an honest breakthrough that's great to read. The HEA had me crying!
Nov/21: Re-read in audio and I am not a fan of the female narrator. Her voice is a little too monotonous for me.
