tornadox 's review for:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
by J.K. Rowling
Listened to the audiobook version read by Jim Dale.
Despite the excellent narrator, the prose was not as engaging. Her character descriptions, like the Dursleys and Ginny Weasley, stood out in an unpleasant way. I enjoyed the wordplay more while reading the print version. Audiobooks are still not my bag.
