The Therapist by B.A. Paris

dark mysterious fast-paced

5.0

I'm a big fan of psychological/domestic thrillers and, as per usual, B.A. Paris did not disappoint! 🎉 The Therapist has a feeling of impending doom and claustrophobia that I couldn't shake as I devoured the book. Just like our main character, Alice, I had a new suspect at every turn. The amount of little details that are scattered throughout to make you slowly lose confidence and jump to conclusions was incredible. I loved the games being played, making my mind race to try to figure out who killed Nina. That ending, though? It felt like a freight train barreling straight at you, but you didn't know which way to jump. Another masterful thriller from her that is not to be missed!
