Science Fictions by Stuart Ritchie

hopeful informative medium-paced

This is an excellent book. To contrast it with others, that take an us versus them or good guy bad guy position, this book just explains a problem. It's very helpful how he explains why scientific study results are constantly changing and conflicting. Very useful information presented very accurately. I was very familiar with a lot of the issues and with many of the cases and have a degree in statistics. However I learned more about some famous researcher who I didn't know were frauds. Also some subtle aspects of statistical meta analysis.  All that said I would have appreciated more on nutrition studies and the specific problems there.
