The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can't Stand Positive Thinking by Oliver Burkeman

5.0

Brilliant. Just brilliant. The themes in this book are fresh, relevant, and a welcome change. Spanning cultural anthropology, biology, psychology, psychiatry, religion, and behavioral economics, the author takes the reader on a refreshing tour of the good life and how to pull it off. You've got to have an open mind for this one, though. There are so many themes and concepts that this author informed me about that I had never quite dabbled in or grappled with before, and I've since started reading more articles, books, and blogs about them solely because of the overwhelming evidence to suggest that there is something to all of this.
