This book really pulled at the heart strings, I could not stop crying. Not only for the MC but the thought of what my Vietnamese family had to deal with at that time. The author did a great job at retelling the lives and experiences of so many Vietnam vets. It really made you feel like you were there throughout that entire period. Reading the challenges women faced really makes you grateful for the freedoms we experience today.
