OBSESSED 😍. This book had me laughing and crying on every other page I swear I switched emotions on a drop of a dime. All Too Well took you to the small town Ember Falls which I wish was real because come on it was so cute to live in that world. Lachlan is Ainsley’s brother’s best friend, a single father, but he was also Ainsley’s childhood friend as well. The banter, nicknames, arguing, and the love between these too was everything. Lachlan was the sweetest and most caring father to his daughter Rose and would do anything to ensure she was happy and had a father present in her life even giving up the things he loves to be there. The grief and demons that Lachlan was still fighting 4 years later was heartbreaking but I loved watching this love story come together in the end.
Ainsley has loved Lachlan since they were children and even though it’s been 4 years since they have seen each other all of the emotions come rushing back. Ainsley was a take-no-shit kind of girl and went after what she wanted and didn’t back down from a fight or a challenge. She was a fireball and I would not want to be on the receiving end of one of her lectures. Lachlan’s friend group may have given him shit because he denied his feelings for Ainsley but I loved the group chat they had. Lachlan’s relationship with Ainsley’s brother Caspian was so special and Caspian held back to punches when Lachlan needed to get his shit together. Ainsley’s relationship with her brother was so special.
The spicey scenes were on point and the dirty talk was giving everything 🥵 and I need this man in my life. I cannot wait for the next book in the series and to learn more about Ember Falls and the friend group.
If you love firefighter romance, second chance, single father, childhood friends to lovers, small towns, and spice then this book is for you 🤍.
Thank you, Corinne Michaels, and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read this ARC 🤍.
