A Bad Boy Stole My Bra by Lauren Price
3.0

Ah, where to begin? A bad boy stole my bra by Lauren Price is your stereotypical, teenage ball of cringe, now I didn't say that had to be a bad thing!

This book is jam packed to the brim full of simplistic writing, mean girls and your typical YA characters (your not so outcast outcasts and the "hot bad boy" that everyone pines after blah blah) I'll be honest and say although I didn't dislike this book, I don't think I'll be rushing to read it again any time soon. I just felt as though I was re reading the same book I've already read 5000 times before, soo predictable!

Riley as a main character grated on me slightly, she drones on about how she's an "outcast", "a loner" when let's be real here, she really wasn't, and I'm just growing tired of the same old labels, "oh I'm so different and such an outcast" when in reality they're just like any regular person, the same goes for Alec too, he was portrayed as this bad boy when I'm pretty sure a couple of (false) rumours don't gain anybody a bad boy rep.

Despite these flaws I still enjoyed this book to an extent, it was cheesy and I found myself having a good giggle here and there, and I can't fault the authors use of character development. If you're looking for a light hearted, higschool drama type read then you'll love this. I know a couple of years ago when I was in high-school I would have eaten this right up! Thank you to Netgalley and ink road/black white publishing for sending me a copy of this book in return for an honest review!
