She Must Be Mad by Charly Cox

5.0

Charly Cox is an absolute fucking revelation. I've never been interested in poetry really, but the raw and honest way she speaks about body image and the struggles of being a teen/young women growing up in an age with social media and toxic societal standards had me nearly in tears.

I initially heard about her through a podcast, and sadly let the book languish on my TBR shelf for months. It's such a small but powerful book. And since she recently announced her second volume of poetry will be coming out in October, I'm going to pre-order it ASAP!
