Published by the Galaxy Press, "Writers of the Future Volume 39" is a book full of new science fiction and fantasy stories by talented new writers. It is a collection of science fiction short stories which are not just ordinary stories. The anthology is compiled with the best winning stories and illustrations that were anonymously selected from a competition.

I read this in audiobook format and really enjoyed different stories with their own themes and unique plots. The book not only consists of short stories and illustrations , but also mini introductions to the writers and the illustrations. If you are living a busy life , and don't have enough time to read chunkie novels , there is no better sci-fi short story compilation as Writers of the Future that you will slowly enjoy story by story. Most of the stories of the anthology amused me with their unique plots and if I were asked to choose my favorite , I would pick The Last History written by Samuel Parr because it blew my mind.
